Who I Am and What I Do
Jay Kannan, also known as Kanniah Jogulu, is a
distinguished speaker, trainer, and coach specialising in organisational strategic management. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education at Open University Malaysia (OUM).
With extensive experience in training and development, He has designed and delivered comprehensive programmes focused on strategic thinking, leadership development through succession planning, performance management, and KPI formulation and implementation. His expertise extends to 360-degree feedback appraisal systems, customer experience enhancement through behavioural change, and fostering both critical and creative thinking.
Kannan has helped train a diverse range of industries, including education, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, sales and distribution, logistics, manufacturing, food and beverage, oil and gas, real estate development, government, public services, facilities management, and higher education.
Beyond training, he provides expert consulting services that drive transformative organisational change. His consultancy work includes implementing performance improvement systems, leveraging scorecard-based KRA/KPI tracking and management software to enhance operational efficiency and strategic alignment.
In recent years, he has expanded his expertise to include facilitating and coaching professionals on AI tools such as ChatGPT and other productivity-enhancing AI applications across various business sectors. This reflects his commitment to staying at the forefront of training, coaching, and emerging technologies.
